Prof. Paweena Traiperm<\/a> and ,&nbsp;published a paper \u201cLeaf micromorphological adaptation of <em>Pogostemon<\/em> spp. (section Eusteralis) in Thailand in Agriculture and Natural Resources 2018 <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.anres.2018.09.002\">link<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Pogostemon<\/em>&nbsp;section&nbsp;<em>Eusteralis<\/em>&nbsp;is\ncomprised of diverse taxa found in a range of habitats, from terrestrial to\naquatic\/marshland. Hence, leaf micromorphological\ncharacters of the section <em>Eusteralis<\/em> in Thailand were investigated to\nassess the relationships between leaf micromorphological characters and\nenvironmental conditions and to explore alternative taxonomic characters for\nsupporting the infrageneric classification. It was suggested that the major\nfactor causing different leaf micromorphology in the section was water\navailability.
