Peeraphat Thanasut (@Tonkhaw Peeraphat) and Ms. Pusaya Sripha (@Pusaya Sripha), students from the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, participated in an international internship program at Hortus Botanicus in Leiden, Netherlands. Their internship was supported by the Mahidol Mobility Scholarship. During the internship, the students gained hands-on experience in botany, including plant care and maintenance in the botanical garden, plant research, and techniques for plant conservation and management at an international standard. This opportunity is a significant step in enhancing their knowledge, skills, and professional competence for future careers in the field.
In addition, the program allowed the students to engage in cross-cultural exchanges and collaborate with researchers and students from around the world. It helped them expand their academic network and broaden their perspective in botanical sciences. The Mahidol Mobility Scholarship program plays a key role in supporting students to develop academic potential and international experience, inspiring them to advance knowledge and research in botany for the future.
