On 13 November 2025, the course SCGE 145: Science Communication, coordinated by the Department of Plant Science, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, organized a field visit for second-, third-, and fourth-year students from various departments to the Futurium Science Innovation Center at the National Science Museum (NSM) in Pathum Thani Province. During the visit, the students were warmly welcomed by Dr. Kannika Chen and Dr. Chanin Suriyakul Na Ayudhya, Deputy Directors of the Science Communication Division at the National Center for Science Awareness Development, along with Ms. Wijitra Suriyakul Na Ayudhya, Director of the Academic Affairs Office at the National Science Museum. Their presence provided guidance and encouragement throughout the activities. The program focused on enhancing students’ knowledge of science and innovation through an exploration of the Futurium Innovation Center, which features advanced technology and interactive exhibits. Students had the opportunity to learn about new scientific concepts, practical applications in everyday life, and effective strategies for communicating science to society.
The visit created an engaging and stimulating atmosphere, allowing students to ask questions, exchange ideas, and receive direct advice from experts. This experience not only strengthened academic understanding but also inspired students and broadened their perspectives on learning science in a creative and sustainable way.
