The Department of Plant Science, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University would like to extend its warmest congratulations to two graduate students from the International Program in Plant Science who have been awarded a mobility scholarship and selected to participate in an international student exchange program at KU Leuven, Kingdom of Belgium.
The award recipients are as follows:
1) Ms. Supannika Promkhalipnil, First-year Master’s student International Program in Plant Science
2) Mr. Thanakrit Suparat,Second-year Master’s student International Program in Plant Science

Both students have been granted a lump-sum scholarship of 100,000 THB and will take part in the student exchange program at KU Leuven during the period of 23 February 2026 to 21 May 2026. This opportunity is supported under the Mahidol University Graduate Student Overseas Mobility Scholarship Program for Fiscal Year 2026.
The scholarship aims to promote and support graduate students of Mahidol University by providing them with valuable opportunities to gain academic experience abroad, engage in knowledge exchange with international institutions, broaden their global perspectives, and strengthen intercultural communication skills. Moreover, the program encourages the development of students’ competencies and potential to meet international standards, enhancing their readiness for future academic and professional careers.
The Department of Plant Science is proud of the students’ achievements and sincerely wishes them great success throughout their exchange program. It is hoped that the knowledge, experience, and international academic networks gained from this opportunity will contribute significantly to their future research and academic development, as well as to the advancement of science and society.
