On Friday, May 16, 2025, the Department of Plant Science, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, hosted the 10th Thailand Undergraduate Research Forum in Plant and Genetics (TURFPaG10) and the 4th Thailand Junior Research Forum in Plant and Genetics (T-JuRFPaG4) at Room L-02, Lecture Building, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University.
The event had a really lively and inspiring vibe, with high school and university students, as well as professors from different institutions taking part — like the Department of Plant Science from the Faculty of Science at Kasetsart University and Chulalongkorn University. There were all kinds of research presentations on plant science and genetics, both as talks and posters. It was a great chance for students to share ideas, ask questions, and get helpful feedback from experts. The whole event really showed the creativity and passion of Thai youth in pushing forward plant science research.
The objective of this conference was to cultivate and enhance the academic potential of high school and university students to meet international standards. It served as a platform for presenting research and fostering academic networks between schools and higher education institutions in Thailand. This collaboration lays a vital foundation for the sustainable advancement of plant science and genetics research in the country. The event was filled with inspiration, knowledge, and academic camaraderie, making TURFPaG10 & T-JuRFPaG4 a resounding success and a significant step forward in propelling youth research onto national and international stages.
