On July 31, 2025, the Department of Plant Science, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, organized the “Academic Enrichment Camp” at Room L2-101, Salaya Campus. The event brought together second- and third-year undergraduate students, graduate students (master’s and doctoral levels), and faculty members to mentor and introduce first-year students to core courses, research opportunities, and potential career paths in botany.
The camp provided a friendly and engaging environment where senior students shared their experiences, study tips, and strategies for managing coursework. Faculty members highlighted the significance of botanical research and discussed various professional avenues, including academic research, conservation, and industry-related careers. This initiative not only offered first-year students valuable guidance to adapt to university life but also fostered strong connections among juniors, seniors, and faculty. It reinforced a sense of community within the Department of Plant Science, supporting collaboration and mentorship throughout students’ academic journeys.
